dc.description.abstract |
Open government is a programme of reforms which aims to increase the transparency and effectiveness of public administration and to increase the involvement of the citizenry in governing and solving problems. This requires sharing information and knowledge with the citizenry, as well as opening up administrative procedures which will enable cooperation between citizens and government and will facilitate the common activity of departments and public institutions. For this purpose, open government uses digital technologies and network communication. |
